This striking range originally caught my eye when they launched their own coffee brand a few years ago. What started out as a funky little cafĂ© in downtown Cape Town, has now grown into a range of uber funky products, all trying to harness a Pan African view of a contemporary urban Africa. They do an awesome job of showing just how cool Afro culture actually is. They now have a range of Afro Tea, a collection of loose leaf teas flavoured with fruits and flowers - all using African tea bases, like Rooibos and Honeybush. Our favourite flavour, of course, is the ‘Cape Town’ tea; a stimulating Rooibos blend, encompassing hints of elderberries, honeybush, and chicory root, mixed with a hint of sencha green tea and gunpowder. Seriously!
There are eight 75g tins of Afro herbal teas to select from:
Addis Ababa - Rooibos, Marigold, Cacao
Cairo - Rooibos, Apple, Nanamint
Cape Town - Rooibos,Rose, Elderberry
Casablanca - Green Tea, Mint
Dakar - Honeybush, Orange
Djibouti - Green Tea, Cranberry, Ginger
Malindi - Rooibos, Pear, Strawberry
Mombassa - Rooibos, Lemongrass
